REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 29, 1992 <br />to projects have been presented at this time for execution. Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Mueller and <br />carried, the Title Sheets were approved and signed. <br />APPROVE AND/OR RELEASE CONTRACTORS AND EXCAVATION BONDS <br />Mr. Larry D. Spradlin, Sr., Division of Engineering, recommended <br />that the following bonds be approved and/or released as <br />indicated: <br />CONTRACTOR'S BOND <br />- Ed DeCraene <br />943 South 23rd Street <br />South Bend, Indiana Release Effective 10-8-92 <br />- James Kmitta, d/b/a <br />S & S Design & Manufacturing <br />Company, Inc. <br />19195 Haviland Drive <br />South Bend, Indiana Release Effective 7-1-92 <br />- P & S Construction, Inc. <br />64240 Maple Road <br />Lakeville, IN 46536 Approve Effective 6-26-92 <br />EXCAVATION BOND <br />- Troyer Construction <br />11544 Wokingham Drive <br />Mishawaka, Indiana Release Effective 7-2-92 <br />Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the recommendations be accepted <br />and the bonds be approved and/or released as indicated above. <br />Mrs. Mueller seponded the motion which carried. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Board is in receipt of two (2) <br />lists as submitted by the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating that one hundred forty-four (144) miscellaneous <br />properties were cleaned by the Department from June 15, 1992 to <br />June 18, 1992. Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the lists be <br />accepted for filing. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY MONTHLY REPORT - APRIL <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Humane Society of St. Joseph <br />County, IN, Inc., submitted to the Board the Monthly Service <br />Report for the month of April indicating the types and number of <br />animals handled for the City during this time. Therefore, Mr. <br />Leszczynski made a motion that the report as submitted be <br />accepted for filing. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that the Deputy Controllers Office has <br />submitted claims in the amount of $464,455.62 and recommended <br />approval. Additionally, Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, <br />WDS of Northern Indiana, submitted a list of claims totalling <br />$348,485.90 and recommended approval. Therefore, Mr. Caldwell <br />made a motion that the claims be approved and the lists be <br />filed. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />1 <br />
