Michael Schaum <br />1247 169th Street <br />Hammond, IN 46324 <br />ITLE SHEET - <br />GEORG <br />iUNN ROAD - <br />JUNE 8, 1992 <br />WEEN WILLIS AVENUE AND <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Title Sheet for the above <br />referred to project was being presented at this time for <br />execution. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by <br />Mr. Caldwell and carried, the above referred to Title Sheet was <br />approved and signed. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - RUBBISH AND GARBAGE REMOVAL <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following Rubbish and Garbage <br />license application has been received: <br />1. Eddie L. Ivory <br />1302 Linden Avenue <br />South Bend, IN 46628 <br />It was noted that an inspection of the truck to be used had been <br />conducted by the Solid Waste Bureau and the applicant was found <br />to be in compliance. <br />It is further noted that Mrs. Kathy Dempsey, Director, Department <br />of Code Enforcement, informed the Board that Mr. Ivory will be <br />parking his vehicle at 4313 West Linden which is zoned <br />C-Commercial and is appropriate for parking his vehicle. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />Caldwell and carried, the above license application was approved <br />and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of a <br />license. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that the Board is in receipt of two (2) <br />lists as submitted by the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating that seventy-eight (78) miscellaneous properties were <br />cleaned by the Department from May 26, 1992 to May 28, 1992. Mr. <br />Caldwell made a motion that the lists be accepted for filing. <br />Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Deputy Controllers Office has <br />submitted claims in the amounts of $2,146,018.06, $588,352.01 and <br />$1,060,531.33 and recommended approval. <br />Additionally, Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, WDS, <br />submitted a list with one hundred sixty-six (166) claims <br />totalling $32,479.60 and recommended approval. <br />Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the claims be <br />approved and the reports as submitted be filed. Mr. Caldwell <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - 1992 PAVEMENT REPAIRS FOR CITY UTILITY CUTS <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids <br />for the above referred to project. The Clerk tendered proofs of <br />publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the <br />Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following <br />
