REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 27, 1992 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />9:33 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 1992, by Board Member Patricia <br />E. DeClercq, with Mrs. DeClercq and Ms. Katherine Humphreys <br />present. Board President John E. Leszczynski was not in <br />attendance. Also present was Assistant City Attorney Mary H. <br />Mueller. <br />AGENDA ITEM STRICKEN <br />There being no objections by members of the Board, the Amendment <br />to the Maintenance Management Needs Assessment Proposal was <br />stricken from the agenda at this time. <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the minutes of the regular meeting of the Board held <br />on January 20, 1992, were approved. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - OVERHEAD DOOR REPLACEMENT - CENTURY CENTER <br />It is noted that this was the date set for the receiving and <br />opening of sealed bids for the above referred to project. Mrs. <br />DeClercq opened and read the following bids: <br />KASER-SPRAKER CONSTRUCTION, INC. <br />25487 West State Road 2 <br />P.O. Box 1106 <br />South Bend, Indiana 46624 <br />BID: $26,264.00 <br />Alternate No. 1: Deduct $2,550.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the above bids were referred to Century Center for <br />review and award. <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NOS. 2,3,4-1992 - DISPOSAL OF SERVICE REVOLVERS <br />(POLICE DEPARTMENT) <br />Mrs. DeClercq advised that Police Chief Ronald G. Marciniak has <br />informed the Board that Sergeant Martin Gersey has retired in <br />good standing from the South Bend Police Department effective <br />December 21, 1991 after twenty (20) years of service. <br />Additionally, Lieutenant William Humphries has retired in good <br />standing effective November 2, 1991 after twenty-two (22) years <br />of service. Also, Corporal William Molnar has retired in good <br />standing effective December 1, 1991 after twenty-two (22) years <br />of service. <br />
