REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 6, 1992 <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that the study indicated that ordinance <br />requirements were not met and therefore it is being recommended <br />that the Petition be denied. <br />Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that. the Board accept the <br />recommendation to deny the Petition but added that. the Board <br />should take a look at the current Restricted Residential Parking <br />ordinance and discuss it with Board Attorney Mary H. Meuller for <br />possible revision. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />APPROVE REQUEST OF MARCH OF DIMES TO CONDUCT ANNUAL WALK AMERICA <br />- APRIL 25, 1992 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the appropriate City departments and <br />bureaus have reviewed the above referred to request which was <br />submitted to the Board on December 9, 1991 and approval is <br />recommended. It is noted that the City Attorney's office has <br />recommended that a Certificate of Insurance, in the amount of one <br />million dollars ($1,000,000.00), naming the City as an additional <br />insured will be required for this event. Therefore, Mr. <br />Leszczynski made a motion that the recommendations be accepted <br />and the request be approved. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion <br />which carried. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of one (1) <br />list as submitted by the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating that. twenty-three (23) miscellaneous properties were <br />cleaned by the Department during the period December 23, 1991 to <br />December 27, 1991. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the list be <br />accepted for filing. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Juan A. Manigault, Executive <br />Director, WDS of Northern Indiana, submitted a list containing <br />one hundred fourteen (114) claims and recommended approval. <br />Additionally, the Deputy Controllers Office has submitted claims <br />in the amounts of $143,661.75, $2,095,275.81, $8,145,782.30 and <br />$1,108,170.87 and recommended approval. Therefore, Mrs. DeClercq <br />made a motion that the claims be approved and the reports be <br />filed. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and <br />carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:40 a.m. <br />Leszcz <br />Patricia E.
