1 <br />1 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 9, 1993 <br />Lafayette and Lafayette, from South to Monroe, from 6:00 a.m. to <br />5:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 29, 1993, in conjunction with a <br />Carriage and Wagon Show at the Museum. <br />The Bureau of Traffic and Lighting has now advised that they have <br />reviewed this request and recommended that South Street, from Main <br />to Lafayette be closed but that Lafayette be closed from Monroe to <br />Bronson. <br />Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the above referred to <br />three (3) requests be approved. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion <br />which carried. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Mueller, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and <br />carried, the following three (3) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. Box 4141 <br />1319 South Lafayette <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />seconded by Mrs. Mueller <br />for the following was <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Department of Code Enforcement <br />has submitted two (2) lists containing one hundred forty-nine <br />(149) City owned and miscellaneous properties which were cleaned <br />by the Department from July 26, 1993 to July 29, 1993. Mr. <br />Leszczynski made a motion that the lists as submitted be accepted <br />for filing. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Kevin Horton, City Controller, submitted claims in the amount <br />of $507,060.91 and recommended approval. Mr. Caldwell made a <br />motion that the claims be approved and the report as submitted be <br />
