d <br />REGULAR MEETING MARCH 8, 1993 <br />HOUSING DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION <br />HOMEOWNERSHIP INITIATIVE ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to assist three (3) low <br />and moderate income first-time homebuyers purchase homes through <br />HDC lease/purchase agreements. The total cost of this activity <br />shall not exceed $93,650.00. <br />HOUSI_NG DEVI <br />CORPORATION.OF <br />R.E.W.A.R.D ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to provide grant <br />assistance to fifteen (15) low and moderate income households who <br />have completed the R.E.W.A.R.D. homeownership counseling program <br />and are in the process of purchasing a house. The total cost of <br />this activity shall not exceed $22,500.00. <br />Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the above outlined Contracts be <br />approved and executed. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDERS - CORBY STREET PROJECT <br />Mr. Caldwell advised that the Board is in receipt of eight (8) Change <br />Orders in regards to the Corby Street project, involving such items as <br />pipe saddles, rip -rap bank stabilization, pipes, concrete sidewalk, <br />group L pipe, tree removal, four inch (411) solid white line for lane <br />delineation, and special surface removal. The Change Orders indicate <br />increases of $2,201.25, $42.42, $402.00, $462.00, $27,300.00, <br />$40,259.40, $7,910.83 and $4,800.00. Mr Caldwell made a motion that <br />the Change Orders be approved. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />AWARD BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />Mr. Caldwell reminded members of the Board that on March 1, 1993, the <br />Board opened and read bids received for the sale of abandoned <br />vehicles. At this time, the Board is in receipt of a recommendation <br />from the Department of Code Enforcement that the following awards be <br />approved: <br />MR. DAVID W.
