2 9 G ,R MEETING MAY 31, 1994 The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:32 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 1994, by Board President John E. Leszc ynski, with Mr. Leszczynski, Mrs. Jenny Pitts Manier and Mr. James R. Caldwell present. Also present was Board Attorney Anne Brune 1. APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and Upon carri d, the minutes of the regular meeting of the Board held on May 2', 1994, were approved as submitted. OPENI G OF BIDS - HVAC UPGRADE FOR ADMINISTRATION BUILDING - TREATMENT PLANT the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for WASTEWATER This was the a ove referred to project. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. A representative from Lumm Engineers, Inc., advised that the Engineer's Estimate for this project is $41,000.00. The following bids were opened and publicly read: DEAL CONSOLIDATED, INC. 06 West Sample Street outh Bend, Indiana 46601 id was signed by Mr. Darrell L. Graf, President, on -Collusion Affidavit was in order, Non -Discrimination ommitment form was completed and a five per cent (50 )Bid and was submitted. ID: $174,509.00 DWARD J. WHITE, INC. 011 South Michigan Street outh Bend, Indiana 46601 id was signed by Mr. Paul J. White, President, Non -Collusion ffidavit was in order, Non -Discrimination Commitment form as completed and a five per cent (50) Bid Bond was ubmitted. ID: $149,372.00 LUTSKY-PELTZ PLUMBING & HEATING COMPANY, INC. 44 South Rush Street outh Bend, Indiana 46601 id was signed by Mr. Harold E. Slutsky, President, on -Collusion Affidavit was in order, Non -Discrimination ommitment form was completed and a five per cent (5a) Bid and was submitted.
