294 <br />NG MAY 23, 1994 <br />School Corporation for certain properties being used during the <br />1994 S uth Bend Ethnic Festival and these Agreements will be <br />submitted to the Board at a later date. <br />Also, he following areas will be used for entertainment or <br />displa areas: <br />Teacher's Credit Union Cultural Pavilion celebrating <br />International Year of the Family <br />Shopper's Parking Lot - 100 South Michigan Street <br />Society Bank Plaza Stage <br />Plaza Park - 200 South Michigan Street <br />Golden Cat Performance Stage <br />Plaza Park - west bank of St. Joseph River at Jefferson <br />Boulevard. <br />Target Festival Stage <br />South end of Howard Park <br />SuKface parking lot at 300 South Michigan Street between the <br />of Avon Theater building and Rollie Williams Paint Spot. <br />APPROVE ETHNIC FESTIVAL BOOTHS APPLICATIONS <br />Mr. Jon Williams, Events Supervisor, Office of Community Affairs <br />submitted to the Board a list of food and craft booth vendors that <br />will participate in the annual Ethnic Festival. It is noted that <br />he reco ends approval of forty-six (46) food booth vendors and <br />thirty- hree (33) craft booth vendors. Mr. Leszczynski made a <br />motion hat these applications be approved. Mr. Caldwell seconded <br />the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Caldwell <br />and carried, the following four (4) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />NEW INSTALLATION: NO TURN ON RED <br />7 A.M. TO 4 P.M. <br />LOCATION: Crestwood and Edison <br />REMARKS: Request by Common Council President <br />Ann Puzzello <br />NEW INSTALLATION: 1 HOUR PARKING <br />6 A.M. TO 6 P.M. <br />LOCATION: 1214 Van Buren <br />REMARKS: Requested by Mr. Azar, Owner of Azar's <br />Food Market. Needed for business <br />turnover. <br />REMOVAL OF: HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACE AT 1711 SOUTH <br />WILLIAMS <br />NEW INSTALLATION: 715 NORTH ALLEN <br />REMARKS: Ms. Connie Balmer has moved. <br />NEW I STALLATION: HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACE <br />LOCAT ON: 1341 Fremont <br />REMAR S: Ms. Metz has met all the requirements. <br />
