<br />.ilip A. Newbold, President and Chief Executive Officer,
<br />al Hospital of South Bend, 615 North Michigan Street,
<br />Bend, Indiana, advised that Memorial Hospital/Health
<br />I, is interested in conducting a duathlon. The proposed
<br />.ate is Sunday, September 18, 1994, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
<br />he parking lot adjacent to the hospital which is located
<br />corner of North Michigan Street and Park Lane. The
<br />ed race would involve a 3.1 mile (5K) run, followed by an
<br />Ile (30K) bike race, followed by the same 3.1 mile (5K)
<br />All proceeds from the duathlon will benefit the
<br />,Start Children's Clinic, which is designed to meet the
<br />care and dental needs of lower income families in the
<br />ity. Mr. Newbold noted that they expect approximately
<br />hundred (300) participants. Submitted with the request
