165 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 4. 1994 <br />DYE PLUMBING & HEATING, INC. <br />P.O. Box 1728 <br />LaPorte, Indiana 46350 <br />Quotation was submitted by Mr. Charles Prestin, Vice - <br />President. <br />QUOTATION: $14,000.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and <br />carried, the Quotation of Dye Plumbing & Heating was awarded. <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACTS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and <br />carried, the following Community Development Contracts were <br />approved and executed: <br />DEPARTMENT OF <br />RECEIVERSHIP/REHAB REVOLVING LOAN ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to rehabilitate and <br />manage occupied rental property(ies) as qualified by the <br />Department of Neighborhood Code Enforcement in accordance <br />with program guidelines. The total cost of this activity <br />shall not exceed $50,000.00. <br />DEPARTMENT OF CODE ENFORCEMENT <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT MANAGEMENT/INSPECTION ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to conduct one <br />thousand (1,000) initial substandard building inspections. <br />The total cost of this activity shall not exceed $150,100.00. <br />DEPARTMENT OF CODE ENFORCEMENT <br />NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN-UP CREW ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to clean up one <br />thousand two hundred (1,200) sites within the Community <br />Development Neighborhood Revitalization Area. The total <br />amount of this activity shall not exceed $91,175.00. <br />DIVISION OF PLANNING AND NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT <br />NEIGHBORHOOD PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to provide for <br />construction, reconstruction or rehabilitation of public <br />facilities and improvements, including, but not limited to <br />improvements such as curbs, curb cuts, sidewalks, street <br />lighting, alley improvements and tree trimming/removal on <br />tree lawns. The total cost of this activity shall not exceed <br />$420,000.00. <br />SOUTH BEND PARK DEPARTMENT <br />NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS PLAY EQUIPMENT ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to provide playground <br />equipment in four (4) neighborhood parks. The total cost of <br />this activity shall not exceed $20,000.00. <br />REAL SERVICES <br />OLDER ADULT CRIME VICTIM ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to counsel seven <br />hundred (700) victims. The total cost of this activity shall <br />not exceed $9,326.00. <br />CENTER FOR THE HOMELESS <br />CENTER FOR THE HOMELESS - COMPUTER ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to provide computer <br />equipment for the Center for the Homeless so that intake <br />processing and data reporting systems can be more efficient <br />and productive. The total cost of this activity shall not <br />exceed $8,700.00. <br />
