opt REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 7, 1994 The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, February 7, 1994, by Board President John E. Leszczynski, with Mr. Leszczynski, Mr. James R. Caldwell and Mrs. Jenny Pitts Manier present. Also present was Assistant City Attorney Mary H. Mueller. AGENDA ITEM ADDED Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the Opening of Quotations for renovation work at 113 West Colfax was added to the agenda. APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the minutes of the regular meeting of the Board held on January 31, 1994, were approved. OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - RENOVATION/INTERIOR FINISHES - 113 WEST COLFAX AVENUE It was noted that this was the date set for the opening of Quotations for the above referred to project. The following Quotations were received and opened: ZIOLKOWSKI CONSTRUCTION, INC. 1005 South Lafayette Boulevard P.O. Box 1106 South Bend, Indiana 46624 Quotation was signed by Ms. Karen Pershing, Manager, Interiors Department. QUOTATION: $11,330.00 MURDOCK AND SONS CONSTRUCTION, INC. 131 South Taylor Street South Bend, Indiana 46601 Quotation was signed by Mr. Richard W. Scholtes, Project Manager. QUOTATION: $13,500.00 GIBSON-LEWIS, INC. 1001 West llth Street Mishawaka, Indiana 46544 Quotation was signed by Mr. Merlin Wendling, Project Manager. QUOTATION: $11,350.00 Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the above Quotations were referred to the Department of Community and Economic Development for review and recommendation. OPENING AND AWARD OF QUOTATIONS - DIVISION OF ENGINEERING OFFICE RENOVATION PROJECT: DEMOLITION AND PARTITIONS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CARPET INSTALLATION Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of Quotations for the above referred to project.
