rr�� tp U� 1 1 1 REGULAR MEETING VENDOR: EQUIPMENT: VENDOR: JANUARY 31, 1994 ARM COMPUTING 305 South Michigan Street South Bend, Indiana Motherboard Upgrade (486DX/33) ARM COMPUTING 305 South Michigan Street South Bend, Indiana $ 485.00 APPROVE REQUEST OF EGENOLF CONTRACTING & RIGGING TO OCCUPY PUBLIC SIDEWALK IN CONJUNCTION WITH SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE PRESS INSTALLATION It is noted that the above referred to request, which was submitted to the Board on January 17, 1994, has been reviewed by the appropriate City departments and bureaus and approval is recommended. Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that this request be approved. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - CHIPPEWA AVENUE STORM WATER CONTROL SYSTEM In a Memorandum to the Board, Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering, requested that the Board advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referred to project. Mrs. Manier made a motion that the request be approved. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. REQUESTS REFERRED: Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the following requests were referred to the appropriate City departments and bureaus for review and recommendation: OF IN FRONT PROMOTION & CAMP RAY BIRD TO CONDUCT FIRST ANNUAL R3 TRIATHLON EXTREME (RUN, RIDE & ROLL) - MAY 22, 1994 Mr. Loren T. Kline, Race Director, In Front, 938 Roberts, South Bend, Indiana, advised that In Front Promotion and Camp Ray Bird is requesting permission to conduct the First Annual R3 Triathlon Extreme (Run, Ride & Roll) on Sunday, May 22, 1994. The events of the day will consist of a Fun Roll a 5K non-competitive inline skate tour, fast roll and 10K inline skate race, R3 green for beginners and R3 blue for intermediates. The schedule of starting times is as follows: Fun Roll 1:30 p.m. R3 Green 2:00 p.m. Fast Roll 2:05 p.m. R3 Blue 2:10 p.m. Mr. Kline noted that all races, except for the Fun Roll, utilize portions of the same course. OF MICHIANA WATERSHED, INC. TO CONDUCT ANNUAL ST. JOSEPH RIVER RUN - JUNE 11, 1994 Ms. Nancy Mah, Administrative Assistant, Michiana Watershed, Inc., St. Joseph County Chapter, P.O. Box 1284, South Bend, Indiana, submitted to the Board a request to conduct the 1994 St. Joseph River Run on Saturday, June 11, 1994 beginning at Leeper Park and terminating in Niles, Michigan.
