<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the above bids were
<br />referred to the Fire Department for review and recommendation.
<br />APPROVE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT - POTAWATOMI ZOO - RED BARN RESTROOM
<br />REMODELING - PROJECT NO.95-41
<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that in accordance with the bid awarded on June 26, 1995, to Woodcox
<br />Building Contractor, Inc., 51175 Prescott Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of $24,926.00
<br />for the above referred to project, a Contract in said amount was being submitted for Board approval.
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the Contract was
<br />approved and the appropriate Certificate of Insurance, Performance Bond and Labor and Materials
<br />Payment Bond as submitted were filed.
<br />APPROVE ADDENDUM I - DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC
<br />DEVELOPMENT - EMERGENCY REPAIR ACTIVITY
<br />The following Community Development Addendum was presented to the Board for approval:
<br />Emergency Repair Activity Repairs at 2106 Elwood
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the above referred to
<br />Addendum was approved and executed.
<br />APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT - ESCROW AGREEMENT - COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF
<br />FAME - EXHIBIT CONCEPTS
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that the Board is in receipt of an Escrow Agreement between the City of
<br />South Bend and Exhibit Concepts, 700 Crossroads Court, Vandalia, Ohio. Therefore, upon a motion
<br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the Escrow Agreement was
<br />approved and executed.
<br />APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT - CONSULTING AGREEMENT - GIBSON RISK
<br />MANAGEMENT SERVICES. INC
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consulting Agreement between the City of
<br />South Bend and Gibson Risk Management Services, Inc., 300 South St. Louis, South Bend, Indiana,
<br />for consulting services. Mr. Leszczynski noted that the Agreement is in the amount of $72,000, for
<br />the period of July 1, 1995, through July 1, 1998. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell,
<br />seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the Agreement was approved and executed.
<br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDERS - CURB AND SIDEWALK PROGRAM - ZONES 6.7 AND 8 -
<br />KASER SPRAKER CONSTRUCTION - PROJECT NO 94-22
<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Bob Allen, Public Construction Manager, has submitted the
<br />following Change Orders, on behalf of Kaser Spraker Construction, Inc., 25487 West State Road 2,
<br />South Bend, Indiana, and recommended approval:
