REGULAR MEETING JULY 3, 1995 Quotation was submitted by Mr. James Marnocha, President QUOTATION: $4,950.00 Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the above Quotation was referred to the Division of Engineering for review and recommendation. OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - STUDEBAKER NATIONAL MUSEUM - CONCRETE PATCHING Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed Quotations for the above referred to project. The following Quotations were opened and read: KASER SPRAKER CONSTRUCTION. INC. 25487 West State Road 2 South Bend, Indiana 46619 Quotation was submitted by Mr. Joe Winters, Project Manager QUOTATION: Patch all beams longer than four (4) feet using epoxy bonding and epoxy grout $19,906.00 Epoxy bonding with Speedcrete $13,290.00 For beams less than four (4) feet, apply epoxy $ 3,500.00 And apply Speedcrete $ 3,200.00 Beam patching seven (7) locations on second floor level to be patched with epoxy application $ 1,371.00 And apply Speedcrete $ 924.00 After all areas have been considered, a total amount for using an epoxy application is $24,777.00 compared to $17,414.00 for using a Speedcrete application Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the above Quotation was referred to the Division of Engineering for review and recommendation. AWARD BID - ONE (1) SINGLE AXLE DUMP TRUCK Mr. Matthew Chlebowski, Director, Division of Equipment Services, advised the Board that on June 19, 1995, bids were received and opened for the above referred to equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Chlebowski recommends that the Board award the contract to Wise International Trucks, 4849 West Western, South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of $57,104.00. Therefore, Mrs. Manier made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried. AWARD BID - TWO (2) 15.000 LB. GVW DUMP TRUCKS Mr. Matthew Chlebowski, Director, Division of Equipment Services, advised the Board that on June 19, 1995, bids were received and opened for the above referred to equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Chlebowski recommends that the Board award the contract to Gates Chevrolet, 401 South Lafayette, South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of $63,522.00. Therefore, Mrs. Manier made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried.
