Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bids <br />be awarded as outlined above. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDER - ELDER PARKWAY - PROJECT NO. 95-65 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Engineer, has submitted Change Order No. 2, on behalf <br />of Rieth Riley Construction Co., Post Office Box 1775, South Bend, Indiana indicating that the <br />Contract amount be increased $93,059.05 for a new Contract sum including this Change Order in the <br />amount of $1,295,418.95. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and <br />carried, the Change Order was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF CONTRACT - EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES - UNIVERSITY OF <br />NOTRE DAME <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that the Board is in receipt of an Agreement between the City of South Bend <br />and the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana, for emergency medical services for the <br />University of Notre Dame for special events. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, <br />seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the Agreement was approved and executed. <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT <br />The following Community Development Contract was presented to the Board for approval: <br />Corporation for Entrepreneurial Development $46,000 Staff Support - 1997-1998 <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the above referred <br />to Contract was approved and executed. <br />APPROVAL OF LEASE AGREEMENT - BUILDING COMMISSIONER VEHICLE <br />Mr. Don Fozo, Building Commissioner, submitted an automobile Lease for his vehicle to the Board <br />for approval. Mr. Fozo stated that the present lease is due to expire on January 4, 1997. Upon a <br />motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the Lease Agreement was <br />approved. <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 91-1996/APPROVE AGREEMENT - DISPOSAL OF CITY - <br />OWNED PROPERTY <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the following <br />Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works, and the Agreement for Disposal of City - <br />owned property was approved. <br />1 <br />
