<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said equipment may be transferred or sold at public
<br />auction or private sale, without advertising. However, if the property is deemed worthless, such may
<br />be demolished or junked.

<br />APPROVAL_ OF RECOMMENDATION - LICENSE APPLICATION FOR SIDEWALK CAFE -
<br />RJ'S ESPRESSO SHOPPE
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Design Review, Police Department, Fire Department and the City Attorney's office, in
<br />reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Patrick J. Wittling, RJ's Espresso Shoppe, 109 West
<br />Washington, South Bend, Indiana for a sidewalk cafe. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the License Application was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - LICENSE APPLICATION FOR RUBBISH AND
<br />GARAGE REMOVAL SERVICE - K&D HAULING & MOVING
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that a favorable recommendation has been received by the Department of
<br />Code Enforcement, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Kurtis Edward Rochevort, 812
<br />Division, Mishawaka, Indiana for a License Application for Rubbish and Garbage Removal Service.
<br />In addition, the Bureau of Sanitation has inspected the vehicles to be used in conjunction with this
<br />service, and have been approved. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by
<br />Mrs. Manier and carried, the License Application was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF THREE-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND - GENERATIONS DRIVE
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that a three (3) year Maintenance Bond has been submitted by Mr. Larry
<br />Spradlin, Engineering, on behalf of Rieth Riley Construction, Post Office Box 1775, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, in the amount of $5,824.00. The bond is in excess of ten percent of the construction cost
<br />of the sanitary sewer and water main systems, which the Division of Engineering has inspected and
<br />approved. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and
<br />carried, the Bond was approved and executed.
<br />APPROVAL OF DEEDS OF DEDICATION
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that Mr. Larry Spradlin, Engineering, has submitted two (2) Deeds of
<br />Dedication for additional right-of-way on Locust Road. The Deeds of Dedications are for Key #18-
<br />8155-5576 (James Gruza) and Key No. 18-8155-5591 (St. Mary's of Assumption). Therefore, upon
<br />a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mrs. Caldwell and carried, the Deeds of Dedication
<br />were approved and executed.
<br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED
<br />VEHICLES
<br />Mrs. Kathy Dempsey, Director, Department of Code Enforcement, requested permission to advertise
<br />for the sale of approximately sixteen (16) abandoned vehicles, which are being stored at Super Auto
<br />Salvage Corporation, 3300 South Main Street, South Bend, Indiana. It was noted that' all vehicles
<br />have been stored more than fifteen (15) days, identification checks had been run for auto theft and
<br />the owners and lienholder notified. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs.
<br />Manier and carried, the above request was approved.
<br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the following two (2)
<br />traffic control devices were approved:
