REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 23, 1996 The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:34 a.m. on Monday, September 23,1996, by Board President John E. Leszczynski, with Mr. Leszczynski and Mr. James R. Caldwell. Board Member Jenny Pitts Manier was not present. Also present was Board Attorney Anne Bruneel. AGENDA ITEM ADDED Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, an agenda item for Traffic Control Devices was added. APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the minutes of the regular meeting of the Board held on September 16, 1996, were approved. OPENING OF BIDS - SALE OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY - 1125 WEST INDIANA This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to property. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bid was opened and publicly read: MARIA AND JESUS GRANADOS 1624 Kendall South Bend, Indiana 46613 BID: $350.00 Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the above bid was awarded to Maria and Jesus Granados, subject to the approval of the Purchase Agreement and Quit Claim Deed. OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION - BLACKTHORN LOT 4C - PROJECT NO. 96-29 This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed quotations for the above referred to project. The following quotations were opened and publicly read: HERRMAN & GOETZ, INC.. DBA UNDERGROUND SERVICES 225 South Lafayette Boulevard South Bend, Indiana 46601 Bid was signed by Mr. Thomas J.
