Jacob, Clerk <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO.62-1996 - TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE HOUSING <br />DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INC. <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the following <br />Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 62-1996 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY <br />TO THE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION <br />OF ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INC. <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana (the "City") is the owner of the following <br />described real property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana: <br />35.35' middle part lot G and 35.35' middle part lot F - Rush's 3rd Addition. <br />Commonly known as 605 Bronson Street Key No. 18-3031-1184 (hereinafter <br />referred to as the Real Property); <br />and; <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-9-6-3, the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend <br />(the "Board") has custody of and may maintain all real property of the City of South Bend; and <br />WHEREAS, the City, through the Board, is desirous of transferring the Housing <br />Development Corporation of St. Joseph County, Inc., a non-profit corporation, exempt from income <br />taxation under Section 5030 of the Internal Revenue Code, for use for housing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-1-11-1(b), the City, acting by and through the Board, may <br />transfer property to an Indiana non-profit corporation, exempt from income taxation under Section <br />5030 of the Internal Revenue Code, under such terms and conditions as determined by the Board. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and generally <br />described as follows: <br />35.35' middle part lot G and 35.35' middle part lot F - Rush's 3rd Addition. <br />Commonly known as 605 Bronson Street Key No. 18-3031-1184 <br />
