<br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: Toys, furniture, tools
<br />Mr. Leszczynski further advised that favorable recommendations have been received from the
<br />Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, Department of Code Enforcement, Police Department and Fire
<br />Department concerning the above application. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by
<br />Mrs. Manier and carried, the above license application was approved and referred to the Deputy
<br />Controller's Office for issuance of a license.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT A BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Mr. Walter Botich, 5749 Danbury Drive, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to
<br />block party, on Sunday, June 16, 1996, from 7:00 p.m. until 12:00 midnight, on Danbury Drive from
<br />Gotham to Selwyn Court. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr.
<br />Caldwell and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT A BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Code Enforcement, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to
<br />a request as submitted by Mr. Tom Wisniewski, 1620 Sunnymede, South Bend, Indiana to conduct
<br />the above referred to block party, on Thursday, July 4, 1996, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., on
<br />Sunnymede from Twyckenham to Greenlawn. Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by
<br />Mr. Caldwell and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVE SIDEWALK SALE PERMIT APPLICATION
<br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Board is in receipt of the following Sidewalk Sale Permit
<br />application:

<br />Favorable recommendations have been received by the Engineering Department, Code Enforcement,
<br />Police Department and the Fire Department. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that these applications
<br />be approved. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried.
<br />APPROVE REQUEST TO CONDUCT PROCESSION - A.B.A.T.E.
<br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Alien Gould, A.B.A.T.E. of Indiana, 16434 County Road 8, Bristol,
<br />Indiana, advised that the people of A.B.A.T.E. of Indiana, Region I will celebrate a benefit for
<br />Muscular Dystrophy on Sunday, September 1, 1996 . Therefore, Mr. Gould requested the
<br />permission and assistance to bring the ride through the City of South Bend, beginning at the
<br />Michiana Regional Airport at 12:00 noon, on the designated route as submitted. Mr. Caldwell made
<br />a motion that this request be approved. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried.
<br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the following
<br />Certificate of Insurance was accepted for filing:
