<br />PROPERTY TO BE PURCHASED:
<br />ONE (1) 1996 CHEVROLET LUMINA - VIN #2G1 WL52M7T9175122
<br />2. That the latter described property immediately above, shall be purchased from Gates
<br />Chevrolet, 401 South Lafayette Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana, for the amount of $12,248.00
<br />which includes a trade-in value of $5,000.00 for the property in Number 1 above.
<br />3. That the traded in or exchanged property, to wit:
<br />ONE (1) 1992 CHEVROLET CORSICA - VIN #1G1LT53TXN4207956
<br />shall be removed from the inventory of the City of South Bend.

<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT FIESTA MICHIANA
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a
<br />request as submitted by Mr. Christopher Nanni, La Casa De Amistad, Inc., 746 South Meade Street,
<br />South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to Fiesta Michiana, on Saturday, September 7,
<br />1996, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., in front of the Morris Civic Auditorium, on Michigan Street.
<br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the
<br />recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT GARDEN ALL AMERICAN CIRCUS
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Park Department, Police Department, Building Commissioner, Fire Department and
<br />the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Dave Laflin, South Bend Shrine
<br />Club Inc., 430 North Main, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to circus, on May 31
<br />through June 1, 1996, at the 4H Fairgrounds. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell,
<br />seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT MOONLIGHT WALK AGAINST
<br />CRIME - CRIMESTOPPERS
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a
<br />request as submitted by Ms. Betty Shidler, Crime Stoppers, 701 West Sample Street, South Bend,
<br />Indiana to conduct the above referred to walk, on Sunday, June 23, 1996, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30
<br />p.m., on the designated route as submitted. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell,
<br />seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the recommendation was approved.
