Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVAL OF GRANT OF EASEMENT <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Larry Spradlin, Division of Engineering, requested that the <br />Board approve a Grant of Easement at 2422 Viridian Drive for the installation of a storm sewer and <br />related facilities, with the right of ingress to and egress from said easement. Upon a motion made <br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the Grant of Easement was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF GRANT OF PERPETUAL EASEMENT <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that a Grant of Perpetual Easement was submitted to the Board for approval, <br />for an easement for installation of a sanitary sewer system, together with the right of ingress to and <br />egress from said easement at 30351 Edison Road, from Edcoat General Partner, Inc. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the Grant of Perpetual Easement <br />was approved. <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 20-1996 - DISPOSAL OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the following <br />Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20 - 1996 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />ON DISPOSAL OF UNFIT AND/OR OBSOLETE PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of Public Works that the following property <br />is unfit for the purpose for which it was intended and is no longer needed by the City of South Bend: <br />TWO (2) PAINT MACHINES - BINKS ROADRUNNER <br />WHEREAS, Indiana Code 36-1-11-6(c) permits and establishes procedure for disposal of <br />personal property which is unfit for the purpose for which it was intended and which is no longer <br />needed by the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South <br />Bend that the items listed above are no longer needed by the City; are unfit for the purpose for which <br />they were intended and have an estimated value of less than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said equipment may be transferred or sold at public <br />auction or private sale, without advertising.
