r .- REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 27 1997 ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 81-1997 APPROVING THE TRADE-IN OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY ON PROPERTY OF SIMILAR NATURE Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the following Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works: RESC•_UTION NO. 81-1997 A RESOLUTION OF THE- SOUTH BEND BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS APPROVING THE TRADE-IN OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY ON PROPERTY OF SIMILAR+NATURE WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend that the following described property is unfit for the purpose for which it was intended and should be traded -in for property of a similar nature: QNE (1) 8 X 24 NORSTAR KSU TEN (10) NORSTAR 7310 TELEPHONE SETS - TWELVE (12) NORSTAR 7208 TELEPHONE SETS WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend that the following described property is of a similar nature to the above -described property and should be traded with the above -described property: TWO (2) M5209 DISPLAY BUSINESS SETS TWELVE (12) M5009 BUSINESS SETS TWO (2) M518 ADD -ON TEN (10) M8009 SINGLE LINE SETS WHEREAS, I.C. 36-1-11-9 authorizes the Board of Public Works to trade in or exchange City -owned property for partial or full reduction in the purchase price of property of similar nature. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The following described property shall be traded -in for the following described property of a similar nature: PROPERTY TO BE TRADED IN: TWO (2) M5209 DISPLAY BUSINESS SETS TWELVE (12) M5009 BUSINESS SETS TWO (2) M518 ADD -ON TEN (10) M8009 SINGLE LINE SETS PROPERTY TO BE TRADED: ONE (1) 8 X 24 NORSTAR.KSU TEN (10) NORSTAR 7310 TELEPHONE SETS TWELVE (12) NORSTAR 7208 TELEPHONE SETS 2. That the traded in or exchanged property, to wit: ONE (1) 8 X 24 NORSTAR KSU TEN (10) NORSTAR 7310 TELEPHONE SETS TWELVE (12) NORSTAR 7208 TELEPHONE SETS shall be,removed from the inventory of the City of South Bend. ADOPTED this 27th of October, 1997.
