Littrell, Member <br />s/James R. Caldwell, Member <br />s/M. Catherine Roemer, Member <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE VARIOUS STREETS AND <br />ALLEYS <br />Mr. Caldwell indicated that the Common Council has submitted to the Board a Vacation Petition as <br />completed by Ms. Ann Kolata, Community and Economic Development to vacate the following alleys <br />and streets: <br />All streets. and alleys south of vacated Keasey Street between east of Fellows Street, North <br />of Wenger Street, and west of Marietta Street. <br />Mr. Caldwell advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations concerning this <br />Vacation Petition from the Area Plan Commission, Police Department, Fire Department, Sanitation, <br />Department of Economic Development and the Department of Public Works. Therefore, Mr. <br />Caldwell made a motion that the Board send a favorable recommendation to the Common Council <br />concerning this Vacation Petition. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - SECOND HAND DEALER <br />Mr. Caldwell stated that the following secondhand dealers license application has been received: <br />NAME: Indiana Furniture <br />BY: Fred Romine <br />ADDRESS: 742 West Indiana <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: Used Furniture <br />Mr. Caldwell further advised that favorable recommendations have been received from the Bureau <br />of Traffic and Lighting, Department of Code Enforcement, Police Department and Fire Department <br />concerning the above application. Upon a motion made -by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and <br />carried, the above license application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office <br />for issuance of a license. <br />APPROVAL OF LICENSE. APPLICATIONS FOR RUBBISH AND GARBAGE REMOVAL <br />SERVICE <br />Mr. Caldwell stated that the Board is in receipt of fvorable recommendations from Code Enforcement <br />for a License Application for a Rubbish and Garbage Removal Service for the following businesses: <br />NAME: Superior Waste Systems <br />ADDRESS: 20645 West Ireland Road <br />NAME: Charles Ham II <br />ADDRESS: 1323 East Dayton <br />NAME: Eddie Ivory <br />ADDRESS: 1302 West Linden <br />Mr. Caldwell stated that the Bureau of Sanitation has inspected the vehicles to be used in conjunction <br />with these businesses and have approved them. Upon a- motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by <br />Ms. Roemer and carried, the License Applications were approved. <br />I <br />1 <br />
