REGULAR MEETING MAY 11, 1998 A part of Lot Numbered Thirteen (13) as shown on the recorded Plat of J. K. Huston's Subdivision of Bank Out lot Numbered Seventy-two (72) of the First Plat of Out Lots of the Town, now City of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, platted by the State Bank of Indiana, which part is described as beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot Numbered Thirteen (13), running thence East Eighty-nine (89) feet; thence South Twenty-three (23) feet and Eight (8) inches; thence West Eighty-nine (89) feet; thence North to the place of beginning, ALSO a strip of land Three (3) feet in width lying immediately East of the above - described land which shall be used for the purpose of ingress and egress to the above described land with the owners of the land adjoining said Three (3) foot strip on the East, ALSO a tract of land three and one-half (3 '/2) feet in width, North and South, taken off the entire length of the South side of Lot Numbered Twelve (12) as shown on the recorded Plat of J. K. Huston's Subdivision of Bank Out Lot Numbered Seventy-two (72) of the First Plat of Out Lots of the Town, now City of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, platted by the State Bank of Indiana, EXCEPTING THEREFROM a tract of land Ten (10) feet in width, East and West, taken off the entire width of the East end thereof, which was dedicated to the public use for an alley by Jacob K. Huston. Key No. 18-3051-1980; and Part of Lot Numbered Thirteen (13) as shown on the recorded Plat of J. K. Huston's Subdivision of Bank Out Lot Number Seventy-two (72) of the First Plat of Out lots of the Town, now City of South Bend, platted by the State Bank of Indiana, which part is described as beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot Thirteen (13), running thence East 89 feet North 23 feet and 8 1/4 inches; thence West 89 feet; thence South to the place of beginning. Key No. 18-3051-1981 by Commission to the City of South Bend, Indiana, shall be, and hereby is, accepted, subject to the adoption of a resolution by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission substantially identical in its terms and conditions to this resolution. 2. That upon receipt of fully executed quitclaim deed(s) to the Real Property from Commission, the Clerk of the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana is hereby authorized and directed to cause the recording of said quitclaim deed(s) in the Office of the St. Joseph County Recorder. 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its adoption. ADOPTED at a meeting of the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana held on May 11, 1998, County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601. Jacob, Clerk ADOPT RESOLUTION NO.47-1998 - ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE SOUTH BEND HERITAGE FOUNDATION, INC. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the following Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works: RESOLUTION NO. 47-1998 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY TO SOUTH BEND HERITAGE FOUNDATION, INC.
