REGULAR MEETING <br />MAY 11, 1998 <br />A part of Lot Numbered Thirteen (13) as shown on the recorded Plat of J. K. Huston's <br />Subdivision of Bank Out lot Numbered Seventy-two (72) of the First Plat of Out Lots of the <br />Town, now City of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, platted by the State Bank of <br />Indiana, which part is described as beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot Numbered <br />Thirteen (13), running thence East Eighty-nine (89) feet; thence South Twenty-three (23) feet <br />and Eight (8) inches; thence West Eighty-nine (89) feet; thence North to the place of <br />beginning, ALSO a strip of land Three (3) feet in width lying immediately East of the above - <br />described land which shall be used for the purpose of ingress and egress to the above <br />described land with the owners of the land adjoining said Three (3) foot strip on the East, <br />ALSO a tract of land three and one-half (3 '/2) feet in width, North and South, taken off the <br />entire length of the South side of Lot Numbered Twelve (12) as shown on the recorded Plat <br />of J. K. Huston's Subdivision of Bank Out Lot Numbered Seventy-two (72) of the First Plat <br />of Out Lots of the Town, now City of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, platted by <br />the State Bank of Indiana, EXCEPTING THEREFROM a tract of land Ten (10) feet in <br />width, East and West, taken off the entire width of the East end thereof, which was dedicated <br />to the public use for an alley by Jacob K. Huston. Key No. 18-3051-1980; and <br />Part of Lot Numbered Thirteen (13) as shown on the recorded Plat of J. K. Huston's <br />Subdivision of Bank Out Lot Number Seventy-two (72) of the First Plat of Out lots of the <br />Town, now City of South Bend, platted by the State Bank of Indiana, which part is described <br />as beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot Thirteen (13), running thence East 89 feet North <br />23 feet and 8 1/4 inches; thence West 89 feet; thence South to the place of beginning. Key <br />No. 18-3051-1981 <br />by Commission to the City of South Bend, Indiana, shall be, and hereby is, accepted, subject to the <br />adoption of a resolution by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission substantially identical in its <br />terms and conditions to this resolution. <br />2. That upon receipt of fully executed quitclaim deed(s) to the Real Property from <br />Commission, the Clerk of the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cause the recording of said quitclaim deed(s) in the Office of the St. Joseph <br />County Recorder. <br />3. Jacob, Clerk <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO.47-1998 - ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN PARCELS <br />OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE SOUTH BEND HERITAGE FOUNDATION, INC. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the following <br />Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 47-1998 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING THE <br />TRANSFER OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY TO <br />SOUTH BEND HERITAGE FOUNDATION, INC. <br />
