REGULAR MEETING APRIL 20, 1998 <br />Mr.. Caldwell further advised that favorable recommendations have been received from the Building <br />Commissioner, <br />Department of Code Enforcement, Police Department and Fire Department <br />concerning the above applications. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Littrell <br />and 'carried, the above license applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's <br />Office for issuance of a license. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - RUBBISH AND GARBAGE REMOVAL SERVICE <br />Mr. Caldwell stated that the following Rubbish and Garbage Removal license applications have been <br />received: <br />South Bend Bureau of Solid Waste <br />Jack Dillon <br />3113 Riverside Drive <br />Willie Alsander Rubbish Service <br />Willie Alsander <br />56170 Butternut Road <br />Valley Knolls Pro. <br />Jerry Watts <br />327 Woodknoll, Granger <br />Tim Roper <br />1225 Napier <br />Milton Lax <br />750 North Olive <br />Himco Waste Away Service <br />Charles Himes <br />707 Wildwood Avenue <br />Mr. Caldwell further advised that favorable recommendations have been received from the <br />Department of Code Enforcement concerning the above applications. In addition, the Bureau of <br />Sanitation has inspected the vehicles to be used in conjunction with these businesses, and have found <br />them to be satisfactory. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, <br />the above license applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for <br />issuance of a license. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - PUBLIC PARKING FACILITY <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the following license <br />applications were approved: <br />Peoples Church Of South Bend, Inc. <br />302 West Washington <br />E.H. McNease <br />420 South Main Street <br />Valley American Limited Partnership <br />211 West Washington <br />Ampco Parking System <br />211 Lafayette Boulevard <br />Ampco Parking System <br />322 South Lafayette <br />Ampco Parking System <br />120 North Main <br />Ampco Parking System <br />123 North Main <br />Ampco Parking System <br />214-216 West Wayne <br />Ampco Parking System <br />119 West Wayne <br />Ampco Parking System <br />220 East Wayne <br />Ampco Parking System <br />123 North St. Joseph <br />Memorial Home Care <br />621 Memorial Drive/707 North Michigan <br />Cathedral Church of St. James <br />307-311 West Washington <br />The above license applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for <br />issuance of a license. It was noted that the required Proof of Insurance as well as the hours and rates <br />to be charged was attached to the application. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by <br />Mr. Caldwell and carried, the license applications were approved. <br />1 <br />
