n v :Y EXECUTIVE SESSION JUNE 19, 2007 The Board of Public Safety met in Executive Session on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at 8:00 a.m. The meeting was held in the Mayor's Conference Room, 14`h Floor, County City Building, South Bend, Indiana, for the purposes specified in I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1 (b) (2) (B) and (b) (6) (A). President Jesusa Rodriguez and Board Members Juanita Dempsey, Donald Alford, Patrick Cottrell, and Bruce BonDurant were present. Also present for part of the session was Thomas Bodnar, Attorney for the Police Department. Board members did not discuss any subject matter other than the subject matter as specified in the Public Notice. The meeting adjourned at 8:15 a.m. anita Dempsey, Mem er Patric D. Martin, Jerk SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 19, 2007 A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was convened at 8:22 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 by Board President Jesusa Rodriguez. Board Members Donald L. Alford, Juanita Dempsey, Patrick Cottrell, and Bruce BonDurant were present. Also present was Attorney for the Police Department, Thomas Bodnar, and Board Attorney Joseph Simeri. Police Chief Thomas Fautz was not present. POLICE DEPARTMENT CHARGE 07-01 -TONY MACIK Attorney Thomas Bodnar stated charges had been filed and served on Corporal Tony Macik. Mr. Bodnar stated the Hearing should be set for July 12, 2007, at 8:00 a.m., in the Common Council Chambers. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Alford, seconded by Ms. Dempsey and carried, the decision to hold a hearing at the specified time and place in the matter of Charge No. 07-01, was approved. The Clerk was instructed to reserve the Council Chambers for Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Board, President Rodriguez declared the meeting adjourned at 8:24 a.m. 1 1 1
