Sheridan <br />Ms. Torok has met all <br />Sign <br />requirements <br />APPROVAL OF REOUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - SOUTHEAST <br />PARTNERSHIP CENTER - INDIANA AVENUE - SIDEWALK. CURB AND APPROACH <br />REPAIRS - PROJECT NO. 99-17 <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Ms. Deb Martin, Engineering, requested permission to advertise for <br />the receipt of bids for the above referred to project. Ms. Martin stated that this project will construct <br />curbs, sidewalks and approaches on Indiana Avenue, in the area of the Southeast Partnership Center. <br />Funding is provided by the Community Block Grant account. Therefore, upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Powell and carried, the request to advertise for the receipt of bids <br />was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF REOUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - MORRIS <br />PERFORMING ARTS ENTER - THEATER DRAPERIES - PROJECT NO.98-25-8 <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Fred Lusk, Verkler, Inc., requested permission to advertise for <br />the receipt of bids for the above referred to items. Mr. Lusk stated that Ms. Cleo Hickey, Morris <br />Performing Arts Center, has concurred with this request. Funding is provided by a bond issue. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Powell and carried, the request <br />to advertise for the receipt of bids was approved. <br />APPROVE REOUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED <br />VEHICLES <br />Ms. Sherri Penn, Department of Code Enforcement, requested permission to advertise for the sale <br />of approximately nineteen (19) abandoned vehicles, which are being stored at Super Auto Salvage <br />Corporation, 3300 South Main Street, South Bend, Indiana. It was noted that all vehicles have been <br />stored more than fifteen (15) days, identification checks had been run for auto theft and the owners <br />and lienholders notified.
