This Resolution rescinds and supersedes all prior resolutions setting rates for municipal parking facilities. SECTION V. Jacob, Clerk APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS- SECOND HAND DEALER Mr. Caldwell stated that the following secondhand dealers license applications have been received: NAME: BY: ADDRESS: FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: Harrison's Furniture & Treasures Robert Harrison 1609 and 1809 Miami Street New and Used Furniture Mr. Caldwell further advised that favorable recommendations have been received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, Department of Code Enforcement, Police Department and Fire Department concerning the above application. Upon a motion made by Mr.. Powell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the above license applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance of a license. FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE VARIOUS STREETS AND ,! ALLEYS J Mr. Caldwell indicated thafthe Common Council has submitted to the Board a Vacation Petition as completed by Ricardo Milton, American Home Dreams, 4201 St. Andrews Circle, Mishawaka, Indiana to vacate the following streets and alleys:. . ' Various streets and alleys bounded as follows: High Street on the east; Pennsylvania Avenue on the north, Broadway Street on the south and Marietta Street on the West. Mr. Caldwell advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations concerning this Vacation Petition from the Area Plan Commission, Police Department, Fire Department, Sanitation, Department of Economic Development and the Department of Public Works. Area Plan noted that one the properties adjacent to the vacation of Pennsylvania is not owned by the City. Should this vacation be approved before the City owns this property, the property owner would be left with a lot without any frontage or any access. Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the Board send a favorable recommendation to the Common Council concerning this Vacation Petition. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. 1 1 1
