<br />Mr. Gilot further advised that a favorable recommendation has been received by the Department of
<br />Code Enforcement concerning this application. Further, the Bureau of Sanitation has inspected the
<br />vehicle(s) to be used in conjunction with this business, and has found them to be satisfactory. Upon
<br />a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the above license application was
<br />approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance of a license.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE -
<br />SHAMROCK CLUB, INC.
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as
<br />submitted by Mr. John O'Brien, Shamrock Club, Inc., 1611 Cedar Springs Court, Mishawaka,
<br />Indiana to conduct the above referred to parade on March 17, 2001, beginning at 11:00 a.m., on the
<br />designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Inks and
<br />carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT ERSKINE BOULEVARD ANNUAL
<br />CANDLELIGHT WALK
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as
<br />submitted by Mr. Richard Cowper, 2720 Erskine Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the
<br />above referred to walk, on December 16, 2000, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., on the designated route
<br />as submitted. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the
<br />recommendation was approved.
<br />RATIFY RESOLUTION NO. 121-2000 - APPROVING AN ORDINANCE TO EXTEND AND
<br />PROVIDE UTILITY SERVICES TO AN AREA RECENTLY ANNEXED WITHIN THE
<br />MUNICIPAL CITY LIMITS AND TO AN AREA OUTSIDE THE MUNICIPAL CITY LIMITS
<br />BOTH LOCATED ALONG US 31 SOUTH AND MAIN STREET IN CENTRE TOWNSHIP, ST.
<br />JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA
<br />It was noted the Board of Public Works approved this Resolution on November 27, 2000. Board
<br />members signed the Resolution at this Board meeting.
<br />FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the following Certificates

<br />Mr. Gilot advised that the Title Sheet for the above referred to project was being presented at this
<br />time for execution. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above
<br />referred to Title Sheet was approved and signed.
<br />FILING OF MONTH REPORT - ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
<br />Mr. Jack Dillon, Director of Environmental Services, submitted a monthly report for the Division of
<br />Environmental Services, for the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Organic Resources, Solid Waste and
<br />Sewer Repair. The report was presented and reviewed at the Agenda Session Meeting on December
<br />7, 2000. There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms.
<br />Roemer and carried, the report was accepted and filed.
