oat C) <br />REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 13, 2000 <br />The regular meeting of the Board ofPublic Works was convened at 9:35 a.m. on Monday, November <br />13, 2000, by Board President Gary A. Gilot, with Mr. Donald E. Inks present. Board Member M. <br />Catherine Roemer was not present. Also present was Board Attorney Frank Schaffer. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the agenda for November 13, <br />2000 was approved. <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING b <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of the Board held on October 23, 2000 and October 30, 2000, were approved. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - LEASE OF REAL PROPERTY_- 2214 MISHAWAKA AVENUE - <br />NEIGHBORHOOD PARTNERSHIP CENTER <br />Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the Board's Public Hearing concerning a Lease <br />Agreement for real property at 2214 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, for use as a <br />neighborhood partnership center. It was noted that Resolution 102-2000 declaring the intent to lease <br />this property was approved on September 25, 2000. <br />Mr. Marco Mariani, Planning Department, was present, and stated that all the Resolution 102-2000 <br />was published, and the remonstrance period was completed. There being no one else present wishing <br />to address the Board concerning this matter, the Public Hearing was closed. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the Lease <br />Agreement was approved. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - MISHAWAKA AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS - 2200-2300 BLOCKS <br />CURB SIDEWALK, BIKE RACK, BENCH AND TREE GRATE - PROJECT NO.100-78 <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to project. The <br />Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News <br />which were found to be sufficient.
