AWARD BIDS - YEAR 2000 GOOD NEIGHBORS/GOOD NEIGHBORHOODS PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAM -PROJECT NO 100-17 Mr. Carl P. Littrell, City Engineer, advised the Board that on May 15, 2000, bids were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Littrell recommends that the Board award the bids as follows: L.E. Barber Inc. $151,050.00 - Zone 1 Batteast Construction $132,220.00 - Zone 2 Therefore, Mr. Littrell made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bids be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. AWARD BIDS - CHEMICALS - WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT Mr. Jack Dillon, Director, Environmental Services, advised the Board that on April 17, 2000, bids were received and opened for the above referred to chemicals. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Dillon recommends that the Board award the bids as follows:
