1 1 1 REGULAR MEETING APRIL 10, 2000 Mr. Inks made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and that the Bonds be approved and/or released as outlined above. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the following Certificate of Insurance was accepted for filing: MCI Worldcom, Inc. 1801 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington DC 20006 APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the following traffic control devices were approved: New Installation - 1352 Fisher Ms. Cassell has met all Handicapped Accessible requirements Parking Space Signs New Installation - 510 S. Albert Ms. Koehn has met all Handicapped Accessible requirements Parking Space Signs New Installation - 222 S. Kenmore Ms. Scarcy has met all Handicapped Accessible requirements Parking Space Signs APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO REMONSTRATE Ms. Roemer stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to Remonstrate as submitted by Mr. Ralph Williams, U.S. Lodging of Jacksonville, LP. The Consent indicates that in consideration for permission to tap into the public sanitary sewer system of the City, to provide sanitary sewer service to 52925 S.R. 933, South Bend, Indiana, (Key # 01-1038-1308.01), U.S. Lodging of Jacksonville, LP waives and releases any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the Consent be approved. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. Therefore, Ms. Inks made a motion that the Consent be approved. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE CLAIMS Ms. M. Catherine Roemer, City Controller, submitted claims in the amount of $1,484,266.20 and recommended approval. Additionally, Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, WDS of Northern Indiana, submitted lists containing claims in the amount of $346,848.43 and recommended approval.
