1 REGULAR MEETING JUNE 11, 2001 FILING OF MONTHLY REPORT - WATER WORKS Mr. John Stancati, Director of Water Works, submitted a monthly report for the Department of Water Works for the month of May 2001. There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the report was accepted and filed. APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO REMONSTRATE Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to Remonstrate as submitted by Mr. Richard Watkins, 55803 Murphy Road, South Bend, Indiana. The Consent indicates that in consideration for permission to tap into the public sanitary sewer system of the City, to provide sanitary sewer service to 55803 Murphy Road, South Bend, Indiana, South Bend, Indiana, (Key # 17-1068-2604 and 17-1068-2605), Mr. Watkins waives and releases any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the Consent be approved. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO REMONSTRATE Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to Remonstrate as submitted by Mr. Lee Grigsby, 7283 North 400 East, Wheatfield, Indiana. The Consent indicates that in consideration for permission to tap into the public sanitary sewer system of the City, to provide sanitary sewer service to 59616 Mayflower Road, South Bend, Indiana, South Bend, Indiana, (Key # 05-1035-047502), Mr. Grigsby waives and releases any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the Consent be approved. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE AND/OR RELEASE CONTRACTOR AND EXCAVATION BONDS Mr. Anthony Molnar, Engineer, Division of Engineering, recommended that the following Contractors and Excavation Bonds be approved and/or released as follows: BOND OF CONTRACTOR Joseph Podell Company, Inc. Ed Filip Concrete Fred Williams Craig Hawley Construction The Sergio Corporation d/b/a Sergios Custom Concrete EXCAVATION BONDS Fisk Plumbing Released Effective June 11, 2001 Approved Effective May 29, 2001 Pursuant to Res. No. 100-2000 Approved Effective June 4, 2001 Pursuant to Res. No. 100-2000 Approved Effective June 11, 2001 Approved Effective June 11, 2001 Approved Effective June 11, 2001 D&B Concrete & Excavating, Inc. Approved Effective June 11, 2001 Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and that the Bonds be approved and/or released as outlined above.
