REGULAR MEETING MAY 14, 2001 a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above license application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance of a license. APPROVAL OF SCRAP METAL DEALERS/JUNK DEALERS/RECYCLING OPERATIONS/TRANSFER STATIONS Mr. Gilot stated that the following applications have been received: C&C Salvage, Inc. 3123 South Gertrude Street South Bend, Indiana A-1 Auto Parts 2014 South Lafayette South Bend, Indiana Weaver Truck & Equipment 3605 South Gertrude South Bend, Indiana South Bend Scrap & Processing 3113 South Gertrude South Bend, Indiana South Bend Waste Paper 1519 South Franklin South Bend, Indiana South Bend Scrap & Processing Division 1305 Prairie South Bend, Indiana South Bend Iron & Metal 429 West Indiana Avenue South Bend, Indiana Steve & Gene's Auto Truck Salvage 3109 Gertrude South Bend, Indiana Scrap Management Corporation 3123 South Gertrude South Bend, Indiana It was noted that favorable recommendations have been received by the Fire Department and the Department of Code Enforcement. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the License Applications were approved, subject to the Water Works department reviewing the applications for well field contamination. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - PUBLIC PARKING FACILITY Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the following license application was approved: The Cathedral Church of St. James 307-311 West Washington Street The above licence application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance of a license. It was noted that the required Proof of Insurance as well as the hours and rates to be charged was attached to the application. ADOPT RESOLUTION NO.27-2001 - DISPOSAL OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the following Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works: RESOLUTION NO. 27-2001 A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS ON DISPOSAL OF UNFIT AND/OR OBSOLETE PROPERTY WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of Public Works that the following property is unfit for the purpose for which it was intended and is no longer needed by the City of South Bend: LIST AS SUBMITTED (MISCELLANEOUS COMPUTER EQUIPMENT)
