REGULAR MEETING BID: $174,942.50 BROOKS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. 625 South Beiger Street Mishawaka, Indiana 46544 Bid was signed by Mr. Jeffrey Bender Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order Non -Discrimination Commitment form was completed Five per cent (5%) Bid Bond was submitted BID: $199,408.00 APRIL 23, 2001 Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the above bids were referred to the Division of Engineering for review and recommendation. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Carl Littrell, City Engineer, recommends that the Board award the contract to Selge Construction Company, 2833 Southl lth Street, Niles, Michigan in the amount of $131,686.20. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. OPENING OF BIDS - TWO (2), MORE OR LESS, 2001 HEAVY DUTY TWO TON CREW TRUCK This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to equipment. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient.
