oo -1 <br />REGULAR MEETING MARCH 12, 2001 <br />APPROVAL OF GRANT OF EASEMENT - BUILDING FOR STORAGE - GRAND TRUNK <br />RAILROAD <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, a Grant of Easement between <br />Grand Trunk Railroad and the City of South Bend for a temporary storage building slated for an <br />environmental clean up at 1040 Lincolnway East, was approved. <br />APPROVE WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT <br />In a Memorandum to the Board, Mr. Ken Zmudzinski, Pretreatment Coordinator, Division of <br />Environmental Services, submitted the following Wastewater Discharge Permit and recommended <br />approval: <br />Van Waters and Rogers <br />59865 Mark Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Wastewater Discharge <br />permit was approved. <br />APPROVE PUBLIC WORKS SERVICE CENTER MINOR PLAT <br />Mr. Carl Littrell requested that the Minor Plat for the above referred to project be approved. It was <br />noted the document was not completed at this time, but due to time constraints, needed to be <br />approved. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the Public <br />Works Service Center Minor Plat was approved, and will be circulated to the Board of Public Works <br />board members for signature. <br />APPROVE IRREVOCABLE STANDBY LETTER OF CREDIT <br />Mr. Tony Molnar, Division of Engineering, submitted the following Irrevocable Standby Letter of <br />Credit to the Board and recommended approval: <br />IRREVOCABLE STANDBY LETTER OF CREDIT NO. NAS379508 <br />ISSUED BY: Wells Fargo Bank <br />FOR: Erskine Manor Hills Subdivision/Danch Harner Associates <br />AMOUNT: $125,000.00 <br />EXPIRES: March 1, 2002 <br />IMPROVEMENT: Public Improvements <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the Letter of Credit was <br />approved. <br />APPROVE TITLE SHEETS <br />- WESTERN AND WAYNE STREET IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT NO. 101-002 <br />- ERSKINE MANOR HELL SUBDIVISION <br />- SEWER IMPROVEMENTS -HEATH COURT <br />Mr. Gilot advised that the Title Sheets for the above referred to projects were being presented at this <br />time for execution. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the <br />above referred to Title Sheets were approved and signed. <br />FILING OF MONTHLY REPORT - ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES <br />Mr. Jack Dillon, Director of Environmental Services, submitted a monthly report for the Division of <br />Environmental Services, for the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Organic Resources, Solid Waste and <br />Sewer Repair, for the month of February 2001. There being no further discussion, upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the report was accepted and filed. <br />FILING OF MONTHLY REPORT - WATER WORKS <br />Mr. John Stancati, Director of Water Works, submitted a monthly report for the Department of <br />Water Works for the month of February 2001. There being no further discussion, upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the report was accepted and filed. <br />
