0065 <br />1 <br />1 <br />REGULAR MEETING MARCH 25, 2002 <br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDER - ROBERT BOSCH FACILITIES UPGRADE - PHASE I - KASER <br />SPRAKER CONSTRUCTION - PROJECT NO. 101-046 <br />Mr. Gilot advised that Mr. Carl Littrell, City Engineer, has submitted Change Order No. 9 on behalf <br />of Kaser Spraker Construction, 25487 West State Road 2, South Bend, Indiana indicating that the <br />Contract amount be increased $642.00 for a new Contract sum including this Change Order in the <br />amount of $1,911,809.00. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, <br />the Change Order was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT - ADDITIONAL SURVEY WORK - OLIVER PLOW WORKS <br />SITE - DANCH HARNER & ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of an Agreement between the City of South Bend and <br />Danch, Harper & Associates, Inc., 2422 Viridian Drive, South Bend, Indiana, for additional survey <br />work at the northwest corner of Chapin Street and Sample Street. Mr. Gilot noted that the <br />Agreement is in the amount of $6,212.50. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded <br />by Mr. Inks and carried, the Agreement was approved and executed. <br />_APPROVAL OF PROPOSAL - ENGINEERING SERVICES - DRAINAGE CULVERT (a� <br />IRELAND CROSSING <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of an Proposal between the City of South Bend and <br />Lawson Fisher Associates, 525 West Washington, South Bend, Indiana, for the design of a drainage <br />system for the Ireland Road crossing of an unnamed tributary to Clyde Creek located approximately <br />700 feet east of Ironwood Drive. Mr. Gilot noted that the Proposal is in the amount not to exceed <br />$12,500.00. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the <br />Proposal was approved and executed. <br />APPROVE EXCAVATION BOND <br />Mr. Anthony Molnar, Engineer, Division of Engineering, recommended that the following <br />Excavation Bond be approved as follows: <br />EXCAVATION BOND <br />The Fisher Company Approved Effective March 21, 2002 <br />Pursuant to Res. No. 100-2000 <br />Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and that the Bond be approved as <br />outlined above. Mr. Inks <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS - FOOD <br />MANAGEMENT/CATERING SERVICES - MORRIS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - <br />PROJECT NO. 102-033 <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Dennis Andres, Morris Performing Arts Center, requested <br />permission to advertise for the receipt of proposals for the above referred to service. Therefore, <br />upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the request to advertise for <br />the receipt of proposals was approved. <br />
