Engineering stated that the neighboring awning cross-section and height off <br />sidewalk must match. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and <br />carried, the recommendation was approved, subject to the notation made by the Division <br />of Engineering. <br />APPROVAL OF LICENSE APPLICATION FOR SCRAP METAL DEALER — <br />SHAPIRO SALES <br />Mr. Gilot that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations from Code <br />Enforcement, Water Works and the Fire Department for a License Application for a <br />Scrap Metal Dealer as submitted by Shapiro Sales, 2920 West Sample, South Bend, <br />Indiana. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks, and carried, the <br />License Application was approved. <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO.49-2005 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the following <br />Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works: <br />RESOLUTION NO.49-2005 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FIXING RATES & CHARGES <br />TO BE COLLECTED FOR THE PARKING OF VEHICLES <br />AT MUNICIPALLY OPERATED PARKING FACILITIES <br />WHEREAS, Indiana Code, paragraph 36-9-11-7 authorizes the Board of Public <br />Works to fix reasonable rates for municipally owned off-street parking facilities, subject <br />to approval of the Common Council; and <br />
