This organization is in the process of replating and will be <br />constructing a number of new homes in this area. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, <br />seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the request was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ACQUIRE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY — LOT 58 <br />ORANGE ROAD — REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />Mr. Gilot stated favorable recommendations have been received from the Mayor, <br />Division of Engineering, Code Enforcement, Community and Economic Development, <br />Park Department, and the Legal Department, in conjunction with a request from the <br />Redevelopment Commission to acquire the City -owned property as described above. <br />This organization is in the process of disposing of the entire Hoosier Tank site. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the request was <br />approved. <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ACQUIRE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY — 218 <br />BROADWAY — HOUSING DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION <br />Mr. Gilot stated favorable recommendations have been received from the Mayor, <br />Division of Engineering, Code Enforcement, Community and Economic Development, <br />Park Department, and the Legal Department, in conjunction with a request from the <br />Housing Development Corporation to acquire the City -owned property as described <br />above. The City -owned property is adjacent to a property they are selling, and would like <br />to combine the house with the vacant property to provide a more marketable property. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the request was <br />approved. <br />
