10 7114 <br />PUBLIC AGENDA SESSION MARCH 10, 2005 <br />The Public Agenda Session of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:00 a.m. on <br />Thursday, March 10, 2005 by Board President Gary A. Gilot, with Mr. Carl P. Littrell <br />and Mr. Donald E. Inks present. Also present was board Attorney Thomas Bodnar. <br />Board of Public Works Clerk Angela Jacob presented the Board with a proposed agenda <br />of items presented by the public and by City Staff. <br />Board members discussed the following item(s) from that list. <br />- Safety Reports — Public Works <br />Mr. Sam Hensley, Street Department; Mr. Jack Dillon, Environmental Services; <br />and Mr. Andy Wierzbicki, Water Works, presented their safety report for their <br />respective department. <br />- Monthly Reports <br />Mr. Jack Dillon, Environmental Services, and Mr. Andy Wierzbicki, presented <br />their respective monthly report for their respective department. <br />- Bid Opening — One (1) More or Less, Packer — Solid Waste <br />Mr. Jack Dillon, Environmental Services, stated this was the bid opening for this <br />requested vehicle and a bid award would be dependent on funding. <br />- Addendum — Professional Services - Scope of Work — Wightman Petrie Environmental <br />Ms. Tonya Zozulya, Community and Economic Development, stated the <br />Addendum expands the scope of this project for additional removal of tanks, <br />piping and a hydraulic lift and removal of debris for three (3) sites. <br />- Contract Modification — Removal of Railroad Ties and Tracks — Hoosier Valley <br />Railroad Museum <br />Mr. John Livingston, Legal Department, stated the modification removes the <br />requirement for a Performance Bond, and adds an alternate provision for <br />completion of this project. In addition, laborers for this project will sign a waiver <br />of liability. <br />The Clerk was instructed to post the agenda and notify the media and other Persons who <br />have requested notice of the meeting agenda.
