AWARD BID — BENDIX AND LINCOLNWAY INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS — PROJECT NO. 100-032 (AIEPORT EDA/TIF BOND ISSUE) Mr. Carl P. Littrell, City Engineer, advised the board that on December 13, 2004, bids were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Littrell recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, Kankakee Valley Construction, Post Office Box 1471, LaPorte, Indiana, the amount of $350,000.00. Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Littrell seconded the motion, which carried. AWARD BIDS — JANITORIAL SUPPLIEWS (USER DEPARTMENTS) Mr. George Zana, Purchasing, advised the board that on December 27, 2004, bids were received and opened for the above referred to items.
