EXECUTIVE SESSION AUGUST 14, 2006 The Board of Public Safety met in Executive Session on Monday, August 14, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting was held in the Mayor's Conference Room, 14"' Floor, County City Building, South Bend, Indiana, for the purposes specified in LC. 5-14-1.5-6.1 (b) (2) (B)and (b) (6) (A). President Jesusa Rodriguez and Board Members Patrick Cottrell, Juanita Dempsey and Bruce J. BonDurant were present. Board Member Donald Alford was not present. Attorney Joseph Simeri was also present. Board members did not discuss any subject matter other than the subject matter as specified in the Public Notice. BonDurant, Member EST: ~~-~ Angela acob, C erk SPECIAL MEETING AUGUST 14, 2006 The Boazd of Public Safety met in a special meeting at 1:38 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2006, with President Jesusa Rodriguez and Board Members Patrick Cottrell, Juanita Dempsey and Bruce J. BonDurant present. Board Member Donald Alford was not present. Also present during the session were Fire Chief Luther Taylor; Board Attorney Thomas Bodnar, Attorney for Chief Luther Taylor; Attorney Joseph Simeri, Attorney for the Board of Public Safety; Attorney Frederick B. Ettl, Attorney for Brian Bartlett; and Engineer Brian Bartlett. A court reporter from Midwest Reporting was present to record the hearing. The hearing was held in the Board of Public Works Meeting Room, 13a' Floor, County-City Building, South Bend, Indiana. FIRE DEPARTMENT HEARING -CHARGE 06-06 -CHARGES AGAINST ENGINEER BRIAN BARTLETT A Stipulation of Record in the matter of Chazges against Brian T. Bartlett was presented to Board, signed by Attorney Frederick B. Ettl and Thomas Bodnar.
